Inbox expiry
Determines how long the address can receive messages. Go by the inbox display and the server's response. A successful renewal changes only this expiry time.
Can you extend a 10-minute email? You can try to renew it before it expires; if renewal succeeds, the new server expiry time applies. First estimate how long you need to wait, then decide whether a temporary inbox suits the task.
The planner calculates locally. It doesn't create an inbox, read your current countdown, or renew your address automatically.
Don't wait for the countdown to reach zero before renewing. Check the actual time left in your inbox and make sure the renewal request succeeds.

Set by the sender's website. A code may expire even while your inbox is active. Request a new one according to the sender's instructions.
Reviews, bookings, and download links may have their own deadlines. Extending your inbox won't add time to a trial, payment, or booking window.
Return to the original inbox and check that the address matches the one in your registration form. If time is running short, renew and wait for a success message and an updated countdown. If the network fails, don't assume the renewal went through.
You don't need to submit the registration form again while renewing, and you shouldn't change the address. Your existing emails stay in the inbox while it's active, but use or save important codes and other details promptly.
An expired address and deleted emails may be impossible to recover. If registration isn't complete, get a new address, update the form, and request another code. Don't use an old code with a new address.
If you've already created an important account, use the website's official support or another linked recovery method first. FwdZen can't change the email on a third-party account or guarantee that the same address can be generated again.
If a message might arrive after you leave the page, relying on manual renewals risks missing it. Use a stable email address or long-term forwarding to send notifications somewhere you'll check.
When changing addresses, update and verify the new one with the sender. This planner doesn't sync with external websites, and creating an alias won't automatically replace the address you previously registered.
| Task | Suggested approach | When to switch methods |
|---|---|---|
| One-time verification code | Open your inbox before requesting the code, and keep using the same address | When the sender explicitly doesn't accept temporary email domains |
| Software trial signup | Allow time to enter your details and verify your address | When you plan to keep the project or make a payment |
| Asynchronous manual review | First find out when the review is expected to finish | Use a stable email address if there's no confirmed send time |
| Email template testing | Keep test batches manageable and compare results promptly | When you need historical regression tests, team access, or important attachments |
These are recommendations, not guarantees of delivery time. If an email doesn't arrive, first check the address, the sender's instructions, and whether your inbox is still active. Then decide whether to send it again.
Not sure which inbox option to choose? Compare the time limits, then try the signup process yourself.
